Don't Move Past an Affair Without Understanding why It Happened

If you have found out that your partner has cheated on you, then it will be very heartbreaking. Whenever you cheated on, you will definitely start to think about whether divorce is something you should consider. Unless you no longer love your partner, you will definitely want to stay and see if things can be worked out.

In order for you both to move forward in the relationship, someone will need to issue forgiveness. Issuing forgiveness doesn't mean that you have to forget about what happened though. You definitely don't need to pretend like the affair never happened either. Instead, they need to face the situation head on.
